Flags lowered in honor of West Reading explosion victims

Governor Josh Shapiro invited all Pennsylvanians to participate in lowering flags to half-staff, honoring the victims of the explosion at R.M. Palmer Company.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Governor Shapiro ordered all flags across the Commonwealth to half-staff immediately in memory of the victims of the explosion in Berks County.

Newswatch 16 found the flag lowered at the state office along Lackawanna Avenue in Scranton Monday morning.

The governor's order is in effect through Friday, March 31.
