MOUNT PLEASANT TOWNSHIP -- A man busted for growing marijuana in a field in Wayne County was sentenced Thursday.
Kevin Gooler of Pleasant Mount received 30 days in jail followed by six months house arrest.
Last summer, the pilot of a state police helicopter spotted marijuana plants behind a barn in Mount Pleasant Township while searching for a missing teenager.
Troopers ended up finding more than 100 plants at Gooler's home.
