PROMPTON, Pa. — Fire destroyed a barn Monday afternoon in Wayne County.
Firefighters were called to Creamton Drive in Mount Pleasant Township, near Prompton, around 1:30 p.m.
They tell us the owner tried to get fire extinguishers that were inside the burning barn, but his son ran in and got him out.
Nobody was hurt.
It appears the barn was used for storage
There is no word on the cause.
