COALDALE -- An early morning fire that ripped through two buildings in Schuylkill County has been ruled arson, according to police.
The fire broke out around 4 a.m. Tuesday at the place on West Water Street in Coaldale, also known as Route 209, and spread to a connecting building.
Investigators said both buildings were vacant.
A state police fire marshal is investigating along with Coaldale police.
Both buildings were destroyed.
