Arrest made in Shenandoah homicide

A man is locked up in Schuylkill County after police say he stabbed a woman to death inside a home.

SHENANDOAH, Pa. — Police arrested Nathaniel Kimmel of Girardville Sunday night on homicide charges.

Police say he waited outside April Mahmod's house on South Catherine Street in Shenandoah and attacked her Sunday morning.

A witness who did not want to appear on camera says they saw Kimmel on top of the victim on the porch and yelled at him to get off.

The suspect ran, and police caught him a few hours later in Schuylkill County.
