A toddler died after falling into a swimming pool Tuesday in Northumberland County.
State police say the owner noticed the neighbor's son face down in the above-ground pool in Turbotville and called 911.
Troopers say the deck area was locked.
The victim's mother and her boyfriend told investigators they were asleep when the child left the home.
The coroner said Clayton-Lucas Hamilton, age 3, drowned.
Authorities believe the child was attempting to fill a bottle to make bubbles when he fell in the pool.
