WATSONTOWN, Pa. — A woman is locked up after allegedly attacking a police officer.
Officers say they were called to a home along Main Street in Watsontown just before 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon for reports of a woman who was publicly nude and under the influence.
When police arrived, they say Samantha Wheless, 33, used a broom handle to hit the police chief and bite his arm.
She's facing aggravated assault charges.
