DANVILLE, Pa. — Teachers in the Danville Areas School District will meet with a mediator Thursday in an effort to head off a possible strike.
That news came out at a Wednesday night school board meeting.
Teachers in Danville have been working without a contract since June 2019.
Some of the sticking points are raises and deductibles on health insurance.
Teachers have threatened to go on strike Monday without some sort of agreement.
