EAST STROUDSBURG -- Police are investigating after someone fired gunshots in East Stroudsburg.
Officers said someone fired two shots at a vehicle on Lenox Avenue around 9 p.m. Sunday.
According to police, they were told the person shot at the vehicle because the driver was trying to run someone down on the sidewalk.
A man who only identified himself as Joshua told Newswatch 16 he was the one who fired the shots. He said he shot at the vehicle because the driver was trying to run down his sister. He said the incident is the result of ongoing relationship issues.
Investigators do not believe anyone was hit by the gunfire.
No charges have been filed at this time.
