MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — Investigators believe a man from Monroe County stabbed his own mother.
Police responded to a home in Hamilton Township just after 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The victim told investigators that she was preparing food for her son, 29-year-old Justin Grimley, when he grabbed a knife from the kitchen counter and stabbed her in the chest.
Grimley faces attempted homicide and related charges in Monroe County.
