WNEP's new three-ton antenna set up

Crews used the helicopter to set the tower upright.

MOUNTAIN TOP, Pa. — The project involved a flat-bed, huge lifters, and even a helicopter to get WNEP's new antenna up.

Crews used the helicopter to set the tower upright on Penobscot Knob, near Mountain Top in Luzerne County.

The antenna weighs three tons.

The project at the transmitter site was delayed a day because of the wind.
