WILKES-BARRE --  Only the skeletons of some cars remain at a used car lot after the Wilkes-Barre Fire Department says someone intentionally set fire to them, costing thousands of dollars in damage.

It happened at Two Guys Auto Sales on Carbon Lane, just a few doors down from where Bridget Davis was at her cousin's house.

"We were watching a scary movie and I thought it was like thunder or something, and we looked outside and was like, 'Oh my gosh! It's in flames!'" said Davis.

Two surveillance cameras on the sides of the car dealership captured the entire incident, the owner is now planning to turn the surveillance video over to police.

"That silver car, I believe, the whole front part of it blew up, and you saw a whole bunch of white sparks go everywhere and you heard a giant boom," said Davis.

The owner of the shop didn't want to go on camera or release his surveillance video of the fire, but he did show it to Newswatch 16 behind closed doors. It shows someone walking up to the cars, setting them on fire, and then casually walking away.

The owner doesn't have any idea who would do this. He says when he is ready, he will release the video.
