FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP -- Firefighters in Luzerne County think a pickup truck tried to beat a train but didn't make it.
Officials said the train ended up clipping the back of the pickup on Wednesday between Gracedale and Woodlawn Avenues in Mountain Top.
According to rescue crews, the driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital but his injuries were not life threatening.
