STROUDSBURG -- A man has been sentenced to prison for a murder in Luzerne County.
James Britton was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison in Monroe County Court.
He pleaded guilty last week to third-degree murder in the death of Robert Roudebush.
Police say Britton and his wife Stacy stabbed and beat Roudebush to death inside a home on Dougher Lane In Wilkes-Barre in 2002. The pair dismembered and burned the body in Monroe County where the remains were discovered a year later.
Stacy Britton is still awaiting trial in Monroe County.
