DALLAS, Pa. — For many families, it's a summer tradition to check out a county fair or two.
Sadly yet another fair will not happen this year due to COVID-19.
For the first time in its nearly 60 year history, the Luzerne County Fair has been canceled.
The annual event in the Back Mountain was scheduled for September 9-13.
Out of concern for the well being of all the guests and volunteers, officials called off the 2020 fair.
