Special welcome home for Lackawanna County nurse

JESSUP, Pa. — There was a very special welcome home for a nurse in Lackawanna County on Wednesday.

Brianna Lowery spent the past two months working with COVID-19 patients in hard-hit New York City.

She is home in Jessup, and the fire company organized a parade of vehicles to drive by her home and extend good wishes.

Lowery, out of an abundance of caution, is self-quarantining for 14 days at her home.
