Scranton joins the effort to #StopAsianHate

March 26 marked a Virtual Day of Action and Healing for Asian Americans across the country.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Black and gold lights lit up the city of Scranton on Friday night. 

It marks the city's initiative to combat recent hate crimes against Asian Americans.

The University of Scranton and the Cultural Center downtown are participating in the effort.

March 26 has been designated as a Virtual Day of Action and Healing by Asian Americans across the country.
