SCRANTON, Pa. — A big disappointment for young and old alike – there will be no Santa Parade in downtown Scranton this year.
Organizers announced late Monday morning that after speaking with participants, committee members, and city officials, they decided to cancel because of the ongoing pandemic.
It was also called off last year because of COVID-19.
The parade committee says it is working on something big to welcome Santa to downtown Scranton next year.
