SCRANTON, Pa. — Pre-K through second graders at Neil Armstrong Elementary in Scranton got a jump-start on the celebration or Read Across America when Newswatch 16's Ryan Leckey stopped by as a guest reader.
He shared the Dr. Seuss classic "Wacky Wednesday."
The goal of Read Across America Day, which officially is Monday, is to promote reading for children and young adults.
