SCRANTON -- Seven decades after the Battle of Iwo Jima, some people in our area decided to pay tribute to the brave men and women who served.
A flag that flew on the 70th anniversary of that major World War II battle was presented in Scranton on Saturday.
Local Scranton businessman Bob Bolus was also on hand, donating that flag to the Northeast Detachment Marine Corps Museum.
