Power restored after crash in Scranton

An SUV veered off the road and crashed into a utility pole Thursday night in Scranton.

SCRANTON, Pa. — More than 200 homes were without power after a crash Thursday night in Lackawanna County.

An SUV hit a utility pole and then rolled into someone's yard on Route 307 near Lake Scranton around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

The driver was taken to the hospital. He is expected to be okay. 

The crash took out power lines.

Route 307 has reopened after being shut down in both directions from Pen-y-Bryn Drive to Conroy Avenue in Scranton.
