BLOOMSBURG FAIRGROUNDS -- One of the first things most people do at the Bloomsburg Fair is eat. While many people have their favorite foods, others are always looking for something new, and luckily, there are lots of new vendors this year.

There are more than 1,200 vendors at the Bloomsburg Fair and a lot of them selling food. While many people have their go-to foods, others like to try new things.

"Well, we take thick-cut bacon. We weave it like basket weave, and then on top of that, we put Italian sausage, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, and some barbecue sauce," said Dave Desimone at the "Bacon Bomb" stand.

After that, the sandwich is rolled up, smoked for three hours, and sold for $7.50.

"Feed the Beast" sells alligator bites, ostrich burgers, elk burgers, and more.

We stopped by "Wild Perky Jerky" because we were told they had tarantula. They were out, so we had to settle for scorpion.

"I like it," said Andrew Zart of Bethlehem.  "I mean, it's crispy, I don't know."

"Wild Perky Jerky has a large variety of items like alpaca jerky and kangaroo jerky.

"Some people are grossed out by it. Some people are a little shocked that you can eat these things and other people are really, really excited," said Heather Neville, Wild Perky Jerky.

We headed over to "Too Hot or Not Too Hot." They have three different kinds of chili.

"It's a too hot chili with a nine-pepper blend with the hottest being ghost peppers. It's extreme," said Brenda Faughnan, Too Hot or Not Too Hot.
