UPMC Lock Haven converts to outpatient emergency facility

UPMC acquired the facility in Clinton County in 2017.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — Changes are coming to a hospital in Clinton County.

UPMC is converting services at UPMC Lock Haven to an outpatient emergency department, according to a release.

UPMC plans to keep 100 percent of the workforce. Many employees will continue their roles at UPMC Lock Haven in the emergency department, outpatient services, or Haven Place, part of UPMC Senior Communities, the company said.

UPMC acquired Lock Haven Hospital in October 2017.
