STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — The annual dance marathon fundraiser at Penn State University wrapped up Sunday afternoon.
This year THON raised $11,696,942.38 for the Four Diamonds Fund.
The fund disperses money to researchers and families with children battling pediatric cancer at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
The event, where dancers can not stand nor sit for 46 hours, started in 1977 and has raised more than $140 million.
