TOWANDA, Pa. — A woman used her power of attorney over another woman to steal more than $35,000 in Bradford County.
According to state police, 67-year-old San Pendergrass-Russel from Florida had power of attorney over 73-year-old Suzanne Sullivan of Towanda.
During that time, Pendergrass-Russel allegedly confessed to stealing about $35,000 from Sullivan.
The thefts happened over the course of a year and included stealing from Sullivan's checking account, investment account, and her credit card.
