Pike County prison employee tests positive for COVID-19

The employee has been in quarantine at home since March 18.

BLOOMING GROVE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- An employee at the Pike County Correctional Facility near Blooming Grove has tested positive for coronavirus.

According to the Pike County Commissioners, the employee has been quarantined at home since March 18.

Inmates who had been contact with the patient are also now under quarantine.

Other staff members at the prison in Pike County who worked alongside the employee are now self-isolating at home.
