A traffic stop in Lackawanna County turned into a police chase that crossed county lines.
Police said the driver of a sport utility vehicle refused to stop for officers in Carbondale around 2 a.m. Saturday.
The driver led police on a chase from Carbondale into the Waymart area where the SUV flipped on Route 296.
Police said two people are in the hospital, but injuries do not appear to be serious.
State police said alcohol was a factor but no charges have been filed.
