Six Hurt in Hit-and-run Buggy Crash
State police in Snyder County are using some paint chips to track down a driver wanted in a hit-and-run buggy crash.

The crash happened along Route 104 in Penns Creek about 8 p.m. Thursday.

Troopers said Delores Horning, 30, of Middleburg and her five children were in the buggy when it was struck. They were all thrown from the buggy. Police said the vehicle that hit them, possibly a sport utility vehicle, kept going. The horse and buggy continued down the road after the crash and collided with a car. No on in that vehicle was hurt.

Police said a five-year-old child was flown to the hospital. Horning and three other children were treated at the scene.

Investigators said the vehicle that hit the buggy has right front end damage. They believe the vehicle is red and teal colored. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call state police at 570-374-8145.
