A teacher in the Bethlehem Area School District is locked up in Pike County on sex charges.
State police arrested Gregory Ritter, 44, of Greentown. Ritter is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy that he met at a camp.
The charges against Ritter include statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault.
According to troopers, the boy and Ritter met at a camp near Kunkletown, where Ritter worked as the first aid supervisor. The alleged assault happened at Ritter's home. Troopers say Ritter then sent the boy text messages that made reference to the encounter.
Ritter is currently behind bars in Pike County.
