The Pike County coroner was called to a pond Tuesday afternoon after a body was found.
The area is called Nitche Pond, just off Route 6 and northwest of Milford.
The victim has been identified as Kathleen Houseman, 45, of Shohola. State police said the woman's death appears to be an accident.
