Two men suspected of robbing a bank in the Poconos have now been charged, more than one year after the crime.
Pocono Mountain Regional Police charged Edward Duncan, 21, of Hawley and Anthony Grandy, 25, of Greentown.
The two are accused of robbing the East
Stroudsburg Savings Association along Route 940 in Blakeslee on February 13, 2008. According to police, Duncan robbed the bank and Grandy drove the getaway car.
Police captured Grandy a couple days after the robbery and say he told them that Duncan was also involved in the crime. Duncan was tracked to Long Island, where police suspected him of several other bank robberies. Nassau County Police arrested Duncan in October and just released him into the custody of Pocono Mountain Regional Police on Tuesday.
