"Go Yankees" Sign Removed from I-81
PennDOT has tracked down the person behind the flashing "Go Yankees" sign along Interstate 81.

PennDOT said an "overzealous construction worker who also happens to be a Yankees fan was responsible.

It seems the worker saw a sighn on the Pennsylvania Turnpike that said "Go Phillies" and responded with the Yankees message.

PennDOT also said the sign is owned by Fahs Construction Group of Binghamton, not Barletta Construction as earlier reported.

The sign is now gone from the side of Interstate 81.
