The owner of a bowling alley in Wilkes-Barre escaped jail time for tax evasion.
John Chacko of Larksville, who owns Chacko's Bowling Alley on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard, was sentenced Tuesday in federal court. A judge ordered him to pay a fine and serve three years probation for his crime.
