Two Schuylkill County Men Killed in Crash
A crash in Lebanon County killed two men from Schuylkill County.

The wreck happened just after 9 a.m. Tuesday on Route 443, west of Pine Grove. State police said three vehicles were involved and one of the drivers is suspected of being under the influence.

According to troopers, an SUV driven by a man from Florida was headed north on Route 443 near Lickdale in Lebanon County. Police say the SUV crossed into the southbound lane and clipped a minivan driven by Paulette Yushock, 49, of Tremont. Neither Yushock nor her passenger was hurt.

Troopers say that after hitting the minivan, the SUV then hit a Chevy Blazer head-on. The Blazer was driven by John Kroh Sr., 67, of Tremont. He died at the scene. Also killed was a passenger, John Becker, 70, of Pine Grove. Another passenger, Kathryn Becker, 81, was taken to Hershey Medical Center with what police described as severe injuries. As of Tuesday night, she was listed in critical condition. A three-year-old boy in the Blazer was not hurt.

The driver of the SUV was also taken to Hershey Medical Center along with a female passenger from New York state. Troopers say they suspect the driver of the SUV was under the influence and charges are expected.
