A camper fire in a work zone on Interstate 81 south shut down traffic in part of Lackawanna County Wednesday morning.
According to PennDOT, the fire was in a single lane work zone between the Waverly exit (197) and the Clarks Summit exit (194).
Southbound traffic was detoured off the interstate until the burned camper could be cleared from the work zone.
That stretch of Interstate 81 was open again shortly after 1 p.m.
