A man accused of seven arsons, including two at businesses our area, appeared in Lackawanna County court Friday.
Ben Christensen pleaded no contest to seven arson charges this morning.
Christensen was accused of starting blazes at Fiorelli's catering in Peckville and Highway Auto in Eynon. Both fires happened in March of 2008.
A no contest plea means Christensen doesn't admit guilt but doesn't dispute the charges. No date has been set for Christensen's sentencing. He remains in the Lackawanna County Prison.
Robert Woolaver admitted he was Christensen's accomplice. He pleaded guilty to his role in two of the arsons and is behind bars in Lackawanna County.
