A motorcycle crash in Lackawanna County Friday night left one man dead.
The wreck happened around 7:30 p.m. on Main Street in Vandling. Police say the driver lost control of the motorcycle and it ended up pinned under an SUV. The driver of the motorcycle died. The Lackawanna County coroner identifies him as Jacob Beautz, 23, of Uniondale.
A female passenger was badly hurt. As of Friday night, police said she was in critical condition at a hospital.
