An 18-month-old girl was assaulted Thursday night in Lackawanna County, according to police.
The Lackawanna County district attorney told Newswatch 16 the girl suffered a fractured skull, broken ribs, and internal trauma at her home in Jermyn.
The girl was listed in stable but critical condition Friday at Geisinger Medical Center near Danville.
Police in Lackwanna County are investigating.
