Bisignani-Moyle Takes Judge's Seat in Lackawanna County
The other big race for the bench comes out of Lackawanna County.

Republican Frank Castellano and Democrat Margaret Bisignani-Moyle, both prosecutors with the district attorney's office, were looking to be the next Lackawanna County judge.

Hundreds of excited supporters gathered in Moosic the celebrate Bisignani-Moyle's victory for the seat on the court of common pleas.

Around 10 p..m Castellano called Bisignani-Moyle to concede.

"I would just love to thank the voters for putting their trust in me and I would tell you it will be my honor to serve this county with honor and integrity," Bisignani-Moyle told cheering supporters.

"I'm proud of the campaign and everything we did and I'm proud of the hundreds of people that helped us every day and worked so hard. Some of them are here tonight and some of them could not be here tonight but it was a wonderful campaign based on good ideas and positive energy and some really true values of Lackawanna County," Castellano said after learning the outcome of the election.

Both candidates ran vying for anew position on the bench. This will make nine judges in Lackawnna County.
