State police had to used a stun gun on an elderly man Tuesday night after, they said, he pointed a rifle at them and a teenager.
It happened near Mill Hall in Clinton County.
Trooper said Howard Litz, 84, hit a 17-year-old boy with the arm and face with a piece of wood, then pointed the gun at his chest and threatened to shoot. When troopers arrived, they said Litz turned the gun on them and would not put it down. That's when he was stunned.
Litz was taken to the hospital for treatment, then to the Clinton County jail.
