A home was badly damaged by flames in Clinton County Tuesday night.
It started around 11 p.m. at a home on West Highland Street in Avis.
Fire officials said four people lived in the home. All of them made it out safely, but a cat died in the fire.
The house is severely damaged.
A state police fire marshal will try to determine the cause of the fire.
