One woman had to be pulled from the rough waters of the Lehigh River Saturday night.

Even the boat used to rescue her ended up swamped by water and a Newswatcher caught the whole rescue on camera.

Fish and Boat Commission Officers were called to rescue a woman trapped under flipped rafts. She was stuck on a rock along the Lehigh River.

Newswatcher Mark Zovak caught it all on camera as one of the rescuers stabbed at one raft, working to deflate it.

With the help of those pulling on the other raft from shore, both rafts were finally freed. One rescuer was quickly able to grab the woman, but it would only begin the rough effort of getting her to safety.

Fish and Boat Commission Officers had the victim as they were attempting to get her into the boat. The rapids the rescuers had to deal with along the river south of Lehighton were rough.

One officer had to work to pull the woman into the boat as the other managed the rough water.

The woman was dragged along side the boat down river until finally one of the rescuers was able to drag her into the boat.

She got in the boat, but it wasn't the end.

Before they got to shore, the Fish Commission boat was swamped. Witnesses say all three ended up in the water.

Eventually everyone involved did get to safety. The boat just started taking on water and after the long ordeal, the woman involved was taken off to the hospital.

There is no word on the woman's condition tonight.
