Police in Wilkes-Barre are looking for two men after a Wilkes University student was stabbed late Thursday.
According to police, Edward Maye, 18, was walking between two buildings on campus just off South River Street when he was approached by two men. Maye said they asked him for money and the three scuffled when he told them he had none. Maye was stabbed in the abdomen. The two men took off with Maye's cell phone.
Police said Maye was walking around when they arrived but was taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital anyway.
