Fire inspectors in Wilkes-Barre will be trying to find out how a house fire started early Thursday.
Crews were called to a vacant house on North Washington Street just before midnight. Firefighters said they believe the flames started in the rear of the first floor but added it's not clear if it was inside or outside the home.
Utilities are still hooked up to the house.
No one was hurt.
