Damage has been reported from Union Dale to Forest City, into the Honesdale area and down through the eastern areas of Pike County.
According to the National Weather Service, a possible tornado damaged several buildings and took down an number of trees near Honesdale.
Damage has also been reported near the Woodloch Pines Resort. Several boats docked at the lake there were reportedly blown ashore.
Newswatch 16 had crews out covering the entire length of the storm.
The damage is pretty impressive in Wayne County near Beach Lake.
One of the hardest hit area's was along Route 652 and Buckingham Road in Berlin Township.
P & L Transmission on Route 652 was severely damaged. The family business has been around for about 30 years. The owner said the storm destroyed all four of his buildings, including a storage garage and warehouse. He said he felt fortunate the business was closed at the time.
"You can see the trail where it came up. It was taking trees out, taking roofs down, right in my parents' front yard it took the tree with the root system, ripped a swing set out in cement. It twisted it like a pretzel," said Pete Lazzeri of Berlin Township.
"Very bad noise before, it was something i never heard before," said Alice Lazzeri. "It got so dark, everything was flying, it was just loud noise, I never saw the wind so bad before."
There were no reports of any injuries.
