Federal investigators are checking out the wreckeage from a plane crash in Wayne County.
The small plane ended up dangling on a cliff over the Lackawaxen River near Waymart.
The plane's owner said a student pilot was trying to land at a private airstrip when he crashed just short of the runway.
The pilot had minor injuries.
