A convicted sex offender in Snyder County is facing new charges.
State police said John Shirk of Middleburg took five-year-old girls on tractor rides between 2007 and 2008 and touched them inappropriately.
Troopers said when questioned Shirk admitted to the assaults.
He is now locked up in Snyder County.
