Shooter Sentenced for 2009 Murder
A man from Philadelphia is headed to prison for a murder in Snyder County in May, 2009.

David Cannie was sentenced Monday to up to 40 years in prison for the murder of 19-year-old Steven Rodriguez. Cannie was also sentenced to up to 20 years for burglary.

Police said Cannie and two other men were charged with killing Rodriquez over some stolen marijuana.

Ibrahim Wells of Mill Hall and Abdul Walker of Williamsport pleaded not contest to the charges.

Cannie pleaded guilty to homicide and the burglary charge. His sentences will run consecutively.
