An elderly man from Schuylkill County pleaded guilty in connection with a deadly crash.
Robert McCloy, 84, of Tremont pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter for the death of motorcyclist Rodney Lewis of Valley View. Police said McCloy lost control of his car on Route 25 near Tremont in June, 2006. Investigators said his car crossed the center line and struck Lewis. He was thrown from the motorcycle and hit McCloy's windshield. He died at the scene.
McCloy got 18 months of probation and was orderd to pay for Lewis' funeral and other expenses.
