An early-morning blaze destroyed a home just outside of Minersville.
Investigators said around 2:30 a.m. Saturday flames tore through a home at 2892 Fairgrounds Road in Butler Township.
Three people made it out of the home safely and one person was hurt after falling from the roof. Two dogs did not make it out of the home.
Crews on scene said the home had working smoke detectors thanks to WNEP's Operation Save a Life.
The state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.
American Red Cross volunteers are helping victims of the fire.
